Join us as we present Edmonton’s foremost travel show featuring destinations from around the world. Over 25 companies will present an opportunity to see first hand great travel packages to the four corners of the globe.

Feature destinations include: Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii, the United States, Asia, Europe, the South Pacific, Africa and South America. Also featuring cruise companies, Polar Bear Tours and tourism bureaus.

Plus four theaters will offer incredible insights to these destinations and an opportunity to listen and ask questions about planning your honeymoon or destination wedding.

When: September 12 show hours 11-5 pm
Where: Mayfield Inn Hotel (free parking)
Tickets: Complimentary but must be reserved in advance through Nuance Occasions

Destination Style :: Jasper Island Ceremony

My most favorite wedding spot in Jasper National Park is perfectly suited to smaller wedding groups. Pyramid Island has a majestic view of Mount Edith Cavell mountain and Pyramid Mountain, and loons can be heard often along the lake.

There is something magical about mountain weddings that our team just loves. Just a short 10 minute drive from Jasper, this site does have limited parking and can be a popular spot for tour buses to stop.

Advance planning is necessary to make sure you can enjoy this stunning ceremony space in it’s natural beauty. But for those wanting a mountain & lake view where the sun seems to descend from the heavens, then is a wonderful location for your Jasper wedding ceremony.

Planning Style :: Escort Card Display

Escort cards are placed at your reception venue entrance – and indicate which table your guests can be seated at. You may allow your guests to select their own seat at that table, or you may choose to have a placecard at the table for each guest determining where they sit.

There are so many creative ways to present your escort cards to your guests.

I love the creative ways that people present the escort cards.
I did something similar to the ribbon one for my own wedding but didn’t use a frame. Very good idea to use one as i found the ribbon kept coming undone – needed to pin it in the end. :)
