Wedding Style :: Do you Magazine or Not?

Earlier today, the New York Times reported that two prominent wedding magazines – Elegant Brides & Modern Brides were being shut down due to the economy & decreasing ad pages – you can see the article here: http://mediadecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/10/05/conde-nast-to-close-gourmet-magazine

This brought to mind a question – Are you buying the oodles of magazines like brides once did?

I’d love to hear in the comments below which magazines if any you do purchase or do you feel you can find all your information you need online these days? It seems paper published media is definitely slowing down, but I’d love to hear about it from a brides’ perspective…so please share your comments below!

Hi Jolyn,
When I was wedding-planning I had a subscription to Brides for about 2 years and also bought other bridal magazines when they looked good. Some of my other favorites were In-Style Weddings, Modern Bride and Martha Stewart Weddings. I did look online at blogs and such, but always felt overwhelmed, so I enjoyed cozy afternoons looking at mountains of magazines instead.
