When struggling to design her decor, Emilie approached Nuance Occasions to help her put the final finesse on her magical wedding day! She wanted it to be elegant, sophisticated and a day that guests would talk about. Jolyn worked closely with Emilie to find the perfect decor accents that would give the ‘ummph’ she was looking for in her day.

The ceremony was set with the stunning white satin chair wraps & fabric draped chuppah canopy by Elegant Touches. Working with her florist, Graham & Lane, the exquisite manzanita branch arrangements with rose pomanders became the focal point at the start of the of the aisle.

Florals were placed along the aisle, and the custom aisle runner with their names & wedding date became a focal point of their processional. Marriage commissioner Marcia Loder provided a very personal ceremony for our couple!

As guests departed the room, Nuance Occasions along with the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald staff began the transformation into the evening reception. Tables were dressed, florals added and favors placed. Stationery was designed by Jenelle of Pink Polka Design. Favors were personalized shot glasses filled with jelly beans.

The topsy turvy cake by Simply Elegant was quite the showpiece, accented with the crystal monogram cake toppers.

As the festivities began, guests were greeted with martini luge and full martini bar. Thanks to an entertaining MC, the couple and guests had many laughs throughout the evening, including the presentation of their ‘gnome’ awards!
As the dance began with music from Revolution DJ service, the night time party began!
