Decor Style :: Floating Your Wedding Cake

Wedding cakes are often a piece of art – and I love looking for creative ways to display that art for all to enjoy at our weddings.

For H&B Parisian Garden wedding, full of lucious florals, we decided to float their wedding cake on a bed of orchids.

To do it, we made a bed of orchids, anchored glass over the orchids and placed the cake on top of the glass.

It really created a statement and was a beautiful show piece for all to enjoy that evening! How are you going to show off your wedding cake art?

What a great idea! Very classy. And to top it off you could add a crystal monogram cake topper – they’re really hot this year amongst celebrities and trendy brides.
