Venue Style :: Edmonton Expo Centre

If you don’t recognize the name, then perhaps this will jog your memory – ‘Northlands Agricom‘.

The Edmonton Expo Centre is the newly renovated and expanded Agricom that is part of the Northlands property.

I was one of the limited wedding planners who had opportunity to view the new spaces and see all the behind the scenes innovations that have been incorporated into this expansion.

   

Myself and corporate meeting planners were greeted with a plethora of food stations – indian beef kabobs, carved beef on a bun, international cheese buffet and a ‘make your own sundae bar’.

We were then taken on personal tours of the large conference center, and their ballroom which is a wonderful space for weddings!

Our tour included exclusive behind the scenes looks into the transport areas and kitchen facilities.

   

I have to say, I wasn’t originally sure how well this large facility that normally hosts conferences would be suited to more intimate weddings, but after this behind the scenes tours, I’m confident that the newly expanded Expo Centre will accomodate many wonderful weddings.

If you are needing a large venue that doesn’t sacrifice quality or style, then consider the Edmonton Expo Centre!
