Denise + James :: Butterfly Garden

With a sentimental attachment to butterflies, Denise & James developed a wedding day that was a rich reflection of them as a couple, but also as a family.

Followed by a moving ceremony at the Union Bank Inn, the day became a festive celebration for Denise & James.

With butterfly stationery accenting the tables, and the room full of the scent of romantic roses thanks to Corals’s Designs – the room was set for a wonderful evening. The sage green and purple are such a romantic color combination for in the Union Bank Inn – which is definitely one of our favorite venues to be in!

As neither Denise or James were one to eat cake, when it came time to select a cake, we began the hunt for something different…more ‘them’! As their reception was being held at the Union Bank Inn, with the best cheesecakes in Edmonton – the choice was obvious to do a displayed tier of cheesecakes. It’s important that wedding details match who you are as a couple and sometimes that means stepping out of the norm once and awhile!

It was fabulous to be a part of your special day, where your family grew into one!

The symbolic butterflies also became favors in the form of magnets which were set on each napkin for guests to take home. The guests then danced the night away to the sounds of Nuance Sound DJ Service before making their way back to Edson after the wedding!
