POSITIONS CURRENTLY HIRING

Position :: Assistant Wedding Coordinator

(2 required before Feb. 2010)

Position:
The successful applicant will provide professional assistance to the team of wedding coordinators with details such as client management, decor preparation, timeline logistics, vendor liaison. This is a part-time contract position (under 10 hours per month), contracted on a per wedding basis. Paid by hourly rate. There is a possibility of advancement with this position.

Schedule:
Must be available evenings and weekends

Qualifications: Must be a college/university graduate. MANDATORY: must be a graduate of the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC) Wedding certification course

Skills: Applicants must possess the following traits: energetic, calm under pressure, able to think critically under stressful situations, excellent communication skills, detail oriented, prompt, passionate about weddings and possess your own transportation and cell phone.

Position :: Part-Time Office Manager

Position:
The successful applicant will provide professional assistance to lead wedding planner & owner, Jolyn Saramaga. You will be responsible for day to day filing, management of paper work and client files, invoicing, contacting & follow up with suppliers, and maintenance of statistics.

Schedule:
15 hours a week to start – some daytime hours, but willing to be flexible for evening & weekend hours

Qualifications: Must be a college/university graduate, must have experience working with a variety of computer systems and programs (word processing, database management, website experience a definite asset). Experience with book keeping, filing and database management is preferred. Must have a pleasant phone manner and sales experience is preferred.

Skills: Applicants must possess the following traits: energetic, calm under pressure, able to think critically, excellent communication skills, detail oriented, sales knowledge & marketing experience, possess your own transportation and cell phone. This position is for someone with no experience or desire to pursue a career in the wedding or events industry.
