As founder of Nuance Occasions, Jolyn has over 14 years experience in the Edmonton wedding industry.
Prior to her career as a wedding coordinator – Jolyn was a Registered Nurse. Jolyn was looking for a creative outlet, and weddings seemed to allow her that expression. Jolyn started Nuance Occasions in 2001 and in 2004 became one of the first Canadian certified coordinators in Edmonton.
Jolyn’s committment to the profession has earned her the respect of wedding planners throughout Canada. She is often sought after by media to respond to wedding related news & events.

Ashley dedication to perfection and intricate details makes her a valuable asset to the Nuance Occasions team. Ashley is the primary wedding coordinator responsible for the Weddings at Winspear program through Nuance Occasions.

Laurie has been been assisting Jolyn with weddings since she received her certification in 2004. She has works well under pressure and enjoys the challenges that planning weddings encompasses. She is a very calming presence to be around on a wedding day – and her couples have loved the opportunity to work with her.

The team of Nuance Occasions wedding assistants is comprised of fabulous new wedding talent. Our assistants work with our team only when they’ve completed their wedding certification process. These fabulous team members are an essential and critical role to ensuring the success of all wedding events. We love the diversity and knowledge that our assistants lend to our wedding team!
